HELP CENTER
MY STUDENT WAS SEEN BY A DOCTOR, NOW WHAT?
In accordance with the UIL and Conroe ISD requirements, any student athlete seen by a medical professional (physician, nurse, chiropractor, etc.) for a medical issue must present a note clearing or removing the athlete from participation.
We have our own Physician Referral page to aid in the transfer of information.
MY STUDENT MAY HAVE/HAS A CONCUSSION, NOW WHAT?
In the event you suspect your student sustained a concussion (on campus or off) you need to inform the sports medicine staff AND their coach immediately.
In the State of Texas, H.B. 2038 is a pro-student athlete safety legislation regulating the treatment of concussions. UIL students (athletics, cheer, ROTC or Marching Band) in Conroe ISD who are suspected to have sustained a concussion must be evaluated by a physician (MD or DO) prior to being allowed to return to participation.
If your student is confirmed to have sustained a concussion there will be a Return to Play Protocol (RTP) once they are symptom-free for 24 hours without the use of medication. The Sports Medicine staff will guide you through the process from start to finish. Click HERE for information on concussions.

WHERE IS MY STUDENT'S PHYSICAL?
It was turned into your student's coach? You thought they'd already been cleared?
-
Parents can see their child's status on the parent portal dashboard. Please check the dashboard prior to contacting the Sports Medicine Staff. Coaches will sometimes send general emails to their teams to make sure you have turned everything in.
-
If you turned in a physical by email or directly to the Sports Medicine Staff please allow a minimum 24-48 hours for processing. Depending on the time of year we may be flooded with physical submissions.
I CANNOT ADD MY STUDENT TO RANKONE
-
New students to Conroe ISD will need to have a profile created by the Sports Medicine Staff. Please contact us directly with your students name and student ID number in order to appropriately create their profile. We will respond when the process is completed.
-
Use your students registered name, this includes last names with more than one name or hyphenation.
